HERCULES
HATTIESBURG

Hercules is proud to have achieved Gold Certification from Tandem Global.
WHC Certification® is a globally recognized leader in conservation and biodiversity programs. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship; Gold being the highest-scoring category.
Our team has completed a range of successful habitat and species conservation projects that are helping protect and enhance local wildlife populations at the former facility.
Birds are making good use of the site: Nesting boxes placed around the site provide safe places for birds during nesting season. Bird sightings across the site have included bobwhite quail, bluebirds, barred owls, wild turkeys, and hawks.
A welcoming place for wildlife: Native food plots and grassland areas across the site provide space for animals to feed and move about. White‑tailed deer, raccoons, and coyotes are commonly seen.
Supporting pollinators: Pollinator meadows and grasslands across the site offer important habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Environmental conservation and stewardship efforts have brought new life to the former facility.
