The site is being addressed through EPA's Superfund program, with oversight from EPA and the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).

What's Happening Now?

Hercules is working with EPA to finalize the work plan and other associated documents needed to begin the next phase of environmental investigation at the former facility.

​

These documents will guide additional field investigation to better understand site conditions and help evaluate future cleanup options. Hercules has submitted the documents to EPA for review and has continued to revise them in response to EPA comments.

Our goal is to finalize the documents and begin field work as soon as possible following EPA approval.
